TECHNICAL BRIEF

The architecture.
At a glance.

An engineering overview of the Setanta hardware and software ecosystem: DANU onboard computers, Space Tiles and Vulcan application software.

01SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Compute around the mission.

CORE

DANU onboard computer

ARM Cortex-M7 processing, integrated FPGA and a common Space Tile interface. COTS and radiation-oriented configurations are evaluated against the intended environment.

EXPANSION

Space Tiles

Astria and Galaxia provide modular FPGA options. Additional AI, FPGA and memory tiles are under development.

INTEGRATION

Software & Vulcan

Embedded software connects the workload to the hardware. Vulcan brings visual AI application design into the same ecosystem, connecting models, modular hardware and deployment preparation.

Review the
evidence.

Hardware configuration, power, memory, throughput, interfaces and radiation requirements belong in the technical review. DANU does not yet claim product flight heritage; engineering-model, hardware-in-the-loop, environmental and flight evidence must be distinguished. OGMA remains an evaluation platform in development.

Start with the payload input, desired onboard output, latency target, mission environment and integration timeline.
